A software company with one engineer
HELM is my registered business in Lebanon. You get what you'd hire a company for, from the person actually doing the work.
What a company gives you
A registered business
Registered in Lebanon, so there's a real company to contract with and pay.
Contracts and invoices
A written quote and agreement, an NDA if you want one, and invoices in pounds, euros, US or Canadian dollars.
Hosting and support
I run Helm and client sites on infrastructure I operate myself, with backups and monitoring.
What's different
You talk to the builder
No account manager and no handoffs. The person you message is the person writing the code.
A fixed price and date
You know what it costs and when it lands before any work starts.
Real products behind it
I build and run my own software, used by 10+ paying businesses, so client work gets the same standards.

Questions
Are you a company or a freelancer?
Both, honestly. HELM is a registered business, and I'm the one person running it. You get a business to contract with and an engineer you can talk to directly.
Can you sign contracts and NDAs?
Yes. Every project has a written agreement, and I'm happy to sign an NDA before we talk details.
Can you work with companies outside Lebanon?
Yes. I work with clients abroad, and invoice in pounds, euros, US dollars or Canadian dollars.
What happens if you're not available?
You own the bespoke code once the final invoice is paid, so any developer can pick it up. If your project runs on Helm, it stays hosted and supported under Helm's terms.
When aren't you the right fit?
If you need a large team working in parallel, or people on site every day, an agency will serve you better, and I'll tell you so.
